Beyza Polat
Co-Founder
Beyza Polat is the Founding Partner and Managing Director of SEAL Consulting. She is an applied microeconomist with expertise in analyzing large-scale datasets and developing quantitative research tools that inform public and private sector decision-making.
Since 2014 she has led or consulted on projects with the Ministry of Industry and Technology, Ministry of Trade, The World Bank, UNHCR, UNDP, İŞKUR, and SAS Institute. Her portfolio spans quantitative impact evaluation, regional economic analysis, labor market assessments, and sectoral economic strategy.
She delivers executive training on data analytics and impact evaluation, and previously served as an Assistant Professor of Economics at Özyeğin University, also teaching at Bilkent University and the London School of Economics. Beyza holds a Business Administration degree from Bilkent University and graduate degrees in Economics from Bilkent University and LSE.
Saygın Vedat Alkurt
Co-Founder
Saygın Vedat Alkurt holds Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Sociology from Middle East Technical University (ODTÜ). With over 15 years of interdisciplinary research experience, he has led academic, public, and civil-society projects across Turkey in political sociology, communication, youth studies, and strategic consultancy.
He currently serves as General Director of Adhoc Research and Consultancy, which he co-founded, and chairs the CORE Institute (Collective Research Association), an NGO focused on generational change, urban mobility, and socio-cultural transformation. He lectures at Kadir Has University’s Faculty of Communication and sits on the Advisory Board of the Department of Political Science and Public Administration.
Alkurt’s work spans research design, qualitative and quantitative analysis, monitoring and evaluation, and data-driven policy consulting for international organizations such as UNDP, EU institutions, and TÜBİTAK, combining field methodologies with participatory approaches for social impact.
Ata Onat
Partner
Ata Onat is the Founder and CEO of GA Capital, an AI-native M&A advisory firm, and AnalystAI, which transforms fragmented private-market data into decision-ready intelligence. He previously led corporate development for Southeast Asia at EMP Belstar SuperFreeze, executing major expansion initiatives, including a $70M+ cold storage facility in Singapore and infrastructure projects in Indonesia and Vietnam.
Before EMP, Ata spent three years in Vietnam managing a portfolio company on behalf of Bravia Capital, where he served as Interim CFO and later Executive Committee member of Bac Ky Logistics, ultimately selling the company to a Vietnamese conglomerate in 2022. Earlier he was based in New York focusing on investments and portfolio management for Bravia Capital.
He has completed, advised, and participated in M&A deals worth more than $6B across transportation, logistics, and aviation sectors in the US, UK, Vietnam, Brazil, Ghana, China, and Turkey.
